Adustable Wooden Asian Arts and Crafts Music Stand

Here's a 3d animation of an adjustable desktop music stand I designed. It was inspired by a combination of the Arts & Crafts Movement of the late 1800s with a touch of Asian design aesthetic. I'm planning to make it out of White Ash with Black Walnut pegs.
Height: 10.5" - 16.25" (adjustable)
Width: 17"
Depth: 5.75"
The music tray adjusts along a sliding dovetail and is held in position with a peg. The side legs are one piece of wood that sticks through the center section of the stand. They are held in position by a modified pegged mortise and tenon joint with pegs on both sides to clamp the center section of the stand. Because of removable tray and side legs, the stand is able to be broken down flat to fit in a 1.5"x10"x17" area.

If all goes well, I'll begin manufacturing and selling them on my Etsy account.

Customized Steampunk Nerf Guns - Part 7

In continuation of my developing tradition of creating retro futuristic Steampunk weaponry from toy guns, I've recently completed two new models.

Unlike the ones I've made and sold in the past, I am testing out a new direction in the sales arena. Previously, all the guns I've modified have only been for sale through auction-style listings on eBay. However, I'm currently trying out the idea of selling them for a fixed price through Etsy.com to see if it will work well as an outlet for sharing my creativity with the rest of the world.

One of the major pluses to Etsy is that each item is listed for three months at a fixed price versus only seven days on eBay. I also don't get charged as much to list and sell on Etsy, so I am able to use more of the money to create new weapon designs.

So without further ado, here are the latest creations from Professor Finneas Wiley's Curiosities & Contraptions.
