On the weekends I work at a nite club here in town and generally have to put up with hearing bad top 40s music most of the time. A few months back, one of the DJs got into the whole dubstep craze and started to mix it into his set. Shortly after this, he started promoting shows at the club that were basically nothing but dubstep all night long. Needless to say I'm not a fan. The best analogy I can come up with for describing dubstep to someone that's never heard it is this four step process.
So I worked up this image one night after be subjected to four hours of non-stop dubstep to "let the demons out" so to speak and prevent me from actually punching him in the face for putting the show together. The ironic part is that he took offense and ended up punching me in the chest after he saw the picture. Oh well.
Anyways, for those of you out there like me that can't stand dubstep, this is for you.
If you're interested in owning a physical copy of the image, I've uploaded it to my Redbubble account where it's available as prints, postcards, and other similar stuff. I might go ahead and upload it as a t-shirt design as well.
- Feed a fat man a can of beans and/or some Taco Bell.
- Record the resulting gaseous emissions.
- Run these through an LFO filter using music software of your choice.
- Inter-cut it randomly into crap top 40s song and upload it online.
